Monte da Ribeira is the realisation of the dream of two young Algarvian siblings of recovering a property with a lot of memories from childhood with their grandparents, when agricultural activities and Algarvian customs were part of everyday life.
Thanks to its architecture, characteristics, location and existing agricultural resources together with the growth in the search for tourism alternatives and the return to cultural and agricultural roots, a project was born from this dream.
Monte da Ribeira was created to offer a touristic alternative to younger generations for them to be able to explore the rural side of the Algarve with agricultural activities,
tours, visits, and local activities where the knowledge from the oldest generations can be passed on together with the joy of reconnecting with nature.
Idyllically situated between the mountains and the sea, the Algarvian sun and the tranquillity from nature make this the perfect location to rest and enjoy an unforgettable holiday.
