Monte da Ribeira - Agroturismo, offers a stay full of strong emotions, through the experience and knowledge that characterises this region, aside from the beach and the coast touristic spots. The countryside life, the cultural heritage, the gastronomy, the magic from nature and the enormous agricultural heritage are at the heart of this project, partnering with local organisations who share the same focus.
Many of the activities we offer to our guests are undertaken in partnership with ALGARVE ROTAS (www.algarverotas.com).
The aim of this partnership is to enhance the rural environment and its authenticity through activities, workshops, guided tours, excursions and experiences together with the local community, enjoying the direct contact with their way of life. The set of activities we offer is very diverse, from the direct contact with the community, their gastronomy and daily practices, such as cork harvesting, drawing the cork and arbutus-berry brandy production to liqueur and traditional sweet tasting and learning the typical crafts in the region.
