The Easter Sunday is marked by the FESTA DAS TOCHAS FLORIDAS, a procession through the streets of São Bras de Alportel decorated with flowers and torches held by the local men. On the street carpets made by flowers collected by volunteers you can find rosemary, lavender and wild flowers.
